1901    
On 1 October Carl Herzog laid the first foundation for the company OLYMP Karl Herzog GmbH & Co. KG, which initially provided the services of hollow grinding of open razors and the sale of hairdressing requisites and hairdresser furnishings.

1904       
The first complete hairdressing equipment installation.

1921
In the 20s the sons, Alfred and Karl join the company. Alfred Herzog takes the approach "We want to be always as modern as the next moment."

1926    
The first operational model for a hairdressing chair with adjustable backrest.

1927    
The first, functional forward washbasin. Invention of the OLYMP mixer tap with retractable shower hose.

1933
Carl Herzog is appointed chairman of the Registered Association of the German Hairdressing Supply Industry.

1937
The first OLYMP pump-action chair.
